Eighteenth stand

All around us in the plaza today, vendors rush to set up their booths and canopies, readying for the throngs to come when the St. Patrick’s Day parade reaches its destination here at San Francisco City Hall.

We are distracted in our meditation, bursting into conversation frequently.
